LIVE THEATRE – Created to be online

SAFE SPACE – A new Danish DigiDrama. A live play created specifically to be viewed online. Written by the winner of Dramatic Debut 2020 (Copenhagen based Theatre V’s leading Danish new writing award), Nanna Berner.

23-year-old Ene has her own livestream. It is here that she talks about herself and her everyday life in an attempt to find community. But tonight, something is different. Ene has chosen a more intimate forum, one which requires a special link to attend. She has found a brown envelope in her mailbox. It gives no clues as to the sender but is does have an unpleasant content. She feels unsafe and she needs witnesses.

Future V’s first Digidrama – SAFE SPACE – is inspired by the true crime wave that’s driving our consumption of documentaries, podcasts, books and audio.

It is a dark story about loneliness, confrontation, and the hard choices in life.
